Barbara (Amesse) Finlan

Barbara Ann (Amesse) Finlan, 87, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 69 years Francis Finlan, her adoring children; Catherine (Jay) Andersen, Francis (Donna) Finlan, Richard (Lisa DiNardo) Finlan, James Finlan, Barbara (Jay) Biondi, Teresa (Steven) Oertel and loving son in law Doug Boughton, sisters; Vera Gilbert, Elizabeth Peterson, Sr. Mary Dominica and Carol Foley, she is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her precious daughters Elizabeth Abbott and Jean Boughton. and her siblings; Louis Amesse, David LaBelle, Robert Amesse, James LaBelle and Gail Ryder.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4 – 7 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, Troy. Funeral procession will begin at 9 am on Friday from the funeral home to St. Joseph's Church, Troy where at 9:30 am a funeral mass will be celebrated with Fr. Joseph Ngo, Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
