Bernadette (Spiegel) Hall

Bernadette "Bunny” Hall, 64, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday July 8, 2023.

Born in Albany, August 7, 1958 to the late Charles Spiegel Sr. and the late Anna Mae Rootes. Bunny married her husband, Kevin R Hall Sr, in 1977, the two went on to settle in South Troy and raise two sons.

In 1989, Bunny’s love for animals led her to what would be a lifelong career of dog grooming, eventually even opening her own shop, TLC Pet Grooming, in 2003. Over the years Bunny had many faithful fur companions, most recently though, her side kick, Zeus. You could always recognize her throughout the streets of South Troy, either joy riding on her scooter or hearing her from miles away, with her infectious laugh. 

In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her two sons, Kevin R Hall Jr and Michael R Hall, both of Troy. “Gramma Bun” to her 6 grandchildren, Mackenzi, Kendra, Mackayla, Ethan, Kevin and Nina. Mother, Winifred Ann Labounty - Spiegel. Siblings, Charles (Claire) Spiegel Jr, Charlann Spiegel, Michael (Meg) Spiegel, Jerry (Maria) Spiegel, Jason (Claire) Spiegel, Norman (Elaine) Labounty, Jeff Labounty, Charles Labounty and Ronnie Mark (Donna) Labounty. Bunny is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you carry on Bunny’s love for our four-legged fur friends by donating in her name to HeartsHerd Animal Sanctuary and Rescue Center. 

Services for Bernadette will be held on Thursday evening , 7pm, at the Wm Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St Troy.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 pm.
