Carol Ellithorp Obituary

Our beloved Mom, sister, grandma (Mema, Ama), aunt, wife and friend; Carol Ann Malik Ellithorp
entered Eternal Peace on November 12, 2022, at age 75. Carol Ann was the eldest daughter of Anna
and John Malik, born February 1, 1947. Carol was surrounded by her husband, Franklin, her children,
Judi, Lisa, Christopher, Shannon, her sisters: MaryBeth and Janice, granddaughters, Tia and Alysha and
her longtime friend, James Deforge (chosen-brother).
She was blessed with a daughter, who was her strength and support, over the last 10 years. Lisa has
been the prime caregiver, nursemaid, cook and dr. Those that have taken their turn helping out, know
that it was not an easy task.
The highlights of her days were spent with her family, and she was recently blessed with a new
grandson, Alexander. She loved snuggling and singing to him. She always made an attempt to call her
children, grandchildren, sisters and friends just to let them know she was thinking of them and loved
them. She never missed a birthday and sometimes she called 6 months in advance. She would sing on
the answering machine if you didn’t answer, or she would call with a Dunkin Donut Coffee order.
Carol Ann is pre-deceased by her parents John Andrew Malik and Anna May Malik, and her grandson
John Andrew. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Franklin Ellithorp, her 4 children, Judi
Morrissey (Chris Pelletier), Lisa Morrissey, Christopher Ellithorp, and Shannon Ellithorp, 3 grandchildren,
Tia Dubray (Rich), Alysha Scott (Steve) , and Alexander Ellithorp, 2 sisters, MaryBeth Farr and Janice
Rocklin ( Steve Rocklin), 6 great grandchildren ( Richie, Matthew, Skyylynn, Lucy, Gage and Adaria), her
two nieces Stacey (Matthew) Gould and Arianne (Vincent) Zaremba and 3 great-nephews and 3 great-
nieces.
She loved to play bingo, watch Supernatural (Dean of course) and crochet blankets for everyone in the
family and the homeless. She will be greatly missed, and she is beyond loved by all who knew her.
Services will be Graveside, Thursday, November 17 at 2:00 PM, private for family and close friends, at St.
