Carrie A. (Horton) Novak

Carrie A. Novak, 65, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Saturday August 3, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Troy she is the daughter of Charles H. Horton Jr. and the late Geraldine Rochminski Horton, and the beloved wife of Michael D. Novak.

Carrie was a graduate of Troy High School Class of 1976 she was employed with the City of Troy in the Troy Housing Department.

Carrie enjoyed playing Bingo, going to try her luck at the local casinos and Turning Stone, playing cards, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors in addition to her husband and father include her loving sons; Craig (Jennifer) Horton, Brenton Novak and Matthew Novak, Grandchildren; Phoebe and Charles Horton, Isabella Novak, Joshua Kachidurian, Teagan Novak and Calli Novak, and her two sisters; Charlette Burgess and Barbara Horton. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12 noon in the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating, Family and friends are invited to the Memorial visitation that will be held prior to the service from 10 am – 12 noon.
