Cheryl M. (Luby) Waters

Cheryl M. Waters, 84 of Wynantskill, Entered into eternal life on Sunday June 30, 2024 in the comfort of her home with her daughters by her side.

Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Earl and Grace Ryan Luby and the loving wife of the late Robert Waters.

Cheryl was a retiree from the Rensselaer County Dept. of Social Service.

Cheryl and Bob enjoyed spending time at Saratoga Race Course during the summer months.

She was a member of and vacationed with the Eastside Senior Citizens, the Out to Lunch Bunch and the Old Goats Club.

Cheryl was a snowbird for many years staying in Naples, Fl. and when she was home she enjoyed cooking and was a great caregiver to many of her family members as well as several adult seniors throughout the area , but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her beloved daughters; Colleen Waters, Kelly Jubic and Erin Waters, Grandchildren; Jodi (Brian), A.J. (Allison), Nate (Emily), Scott (Tori), Kara, Jamie and Maggie, Brother; Kevin (Lynn) Luby. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her Grandson Matthew and siblings Peg Eustace and Artie Baker. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday morning from 10 – 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, 310 Spring Ave. Troy. Funeral mass will begin at 11 am with Fr. John Yanas officiating, Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.
