Christine Cudemo, of Troy, was welcomed into eternal life Tuesday night after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was 68.
Christine lived her whole life in Troy. She worked at the Watervliet Arsenal for 15 years, where she met the love of her life, Tony, who she is now blissfully reunited with in Heaven after 29 years. Christine worked another 22 years for the Troy School District before her retirement in 2020.
She was an avid lover of baseball, and never missed a Yankees game. She also loved to take day trips, and cared deeply for animals and her family. She is survived by her three sons. Matthew of Gansevoort, Jason of Troy, and Brian of Niskayuna. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Joshua, Leah, Kaitlyn, and Jillian, who all loved their Nana very much. And lastly her loving siblings Cathy of Troy, Marilyn of Latham, Charles (Jr) of Troy, and Michael of Stillwater.
The funeral service for Christine will be held on Monday morning at 8:45 AM at The Wm. Leahy Funeral home 336 Third St. Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Church Third Street in Troy where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2- 5 PM Interment St .Joseph’s Cemetery Troy.
