David A. LaBounty

David A. LaBounty 61 of Troy passed away after a brief illness at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY. Born in Troy he was the son of the late Elizabeth “Betty “ (Voland) Santana and Howard “Whitey “LaBounty He is survived by his wife Natalie ( Ilnacky) Labounty  his daughter Tara  Denier ,sister Marcia Picou, brothers Howard LaBounty ,Kevin, Jason and John Santana  pre- deceased by his sister Patricia Santana. He leaves behind 2  grandchildren  Josh “Bud-Bud “ and Emily Denier as well as extended family and dear friends .

 Dave attended Troy High School where he obtained his GED and began his career as a mechanic at a young age. “Chip “ enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was well known to enjoy Budweiser .He was a skilled mechanic who would help many friends and family ,even strangers with their car trouble .He will be missed.

    Relatives and friends of Dave  are invited to spend time with his family on Friday from 4-7 PM at The Wm. Leahy Funeral home 336 Third St. Troy NY
