Donna (Stallmer) Naimo

Donna ( Stallmer ) Naimo of Halfmoon passed away at home on March 18,2023 ,surrounded by
her loving family after a long ,well fought fight with ovarian cancer.
Donna was born in Troy on October 22, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Donald and
Marie ( Daly ) Stallmer.
Donna graduated from Troy High School class of 1967 ,and was employed by Rogers Jewelers in
Troy for several years and then as a professional waitress for many Troy establishments
including Connie’s Luncheonette, Papa Leo’s, The Notty Pine, Leahy’s, Doyle’s, Theresa’s Café
and the Café in the Hedley Building. After moving from Troy to Halfmoon Donna spent her
retirement years immersed in the lives of her family, especially with her husband and
granddaughter.
Donna is survived by her daughter ,Lessa Naimo-Fredette ( Art ) of Halfmoon and son Peter J.
Naimo ( Ryan Marie ) of Troy and her loving dog, Luna. She is the loving grandmother of Cora
Shea , Dylan and Scott Fredette .
In addition ,she is survived by her siblings ,Carol Stallmer, Michael ( Kathleen )Stallmer, Patrick (
Lynn ) Stallmer, Susan ( Robert ) Dupont ,Bernadette ( Richard ) Jensen and Timothy ( Marcia )
Stallmer. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 17 grandnieces and grandnephews.
Donna was predeceased by her sister ,Dale Stallmer and most recently by her beloved
husband Robert (Bob/Gus ) Naimo .
The family offers a special thank you to the Community Hospice and Dr. Timothy J. McElrath
and his staff at The Women’s Cancer Center for their excellent care and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 Third St. Troy NY on
Thursday March 23, 2023 from 4-7 PM.
Donna and Bob Naimo will have a joint interment at The Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National
Cemetery Duell road Schuylerville on Monday March 27, 2023 at 10 AM. All are welcome as we
lay this loving couple to rest together.
