Edward VanDenburgh

 Edward J. VanDenburgh Jr., 67, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on January 5, 2024 at The Delmar Center For Rehabilitation and Nursing. Ed was born in Troy and was the son of the late Edward and Anne VanDenburgh Sr. Ed had been employed for many years at The New York State Department of Tax and Finance.
He was the brother of the Tina Sawyer and the late John G. VanDenburgh Sr. and Noah E. VanDenburgh. Ed is also survived by his sister-in-law Rosemary VanDenburgh of Troy and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Ed will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church Spring Ave., in Troy, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas Pastor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery in Troy.
