Francis J. Bacon Jr.

Francis J. Bacon Jr. 73 of Troy passed into eternal rest on March 3, 2026 in the
comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Troy,
the son of the late Francis J. Bacon Sr. and Alice Eaton Bacon and was preceded in
death by his fraternal twin sister Alice Yonamine. Frank is survived by his loving
wife Frances Spotten Bacon of Troy.
Frank had been last employed by Auto Parts International although for many
years prior he moved furniture for companies such as Ashline Moving Company in
Watervliet. He was a long time member of the North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Club as
he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed
spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Frank is also
survived by his two sons Francis J. Bacon III and Eric Yonamine, two daughters
Jennifer and Heather Yonamine and his grandson Treize Bacon.
The funeral service for Frank will be held on Monday morning at 11am at The
Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 Third St Troy with Paul Dellio officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home
Monday from 9 am until 11 am. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery Troy.
