Francis J. Finlan, 92, Passed away peacefully on June 16th, 2024 with his family and loved ones by his side.
Frank is survived by his children; Catherine (Jay) Andersen, Francis (Donna) Finlan, Richard Finlan, James Finlan (Erin Avery), Barbara (Jay) Biondi, Teresa (Steven) Oertel. Grandchildren; Richard, Jay, Joshua, Shannon, Maria, Lauren, Frank, Jim, Amanda, Ashley, Allyson, Jacob and 14 great grandchildren.
Francis was predeceased by his wife of 69 years Barbara Amesse Finlan, his daughters; Elizabeth Abbott, Jean Boughton and son in law Doug Boughton, his parents William and Anna Weiss Finlan and siblings; Peg, Agnes, Bill, Ann and Mary.
Frank was a dedicated employee of Norton Co., in Watervliet for 38 years, he was a Capital District Umpire for many years, his love for the NY Yankees and Detroit Lions will forever hold a special place in his families heart.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4 – 7 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 3rd Street Troy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 am in St. Joseph's Church, Troy with Fr. Joseph Ngo officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Troy.
