Frank Potenza,96, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Friday February 23, 2024 at the Van Rensselaer Manor surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Troy he was the son of the late John and Madeline Lauriello Potenza and the beloved husband of Joan Doyle.
Frank served our country in the United States Navy during WWII. Upon returning home he owned and operated the Lansing Barber Shop located in Lansingburgh until the age of 92 when he decided to retire and spend more time with his family that he most enjoyed.
Survivors in addition to his wife Joan include his children; Lynn (Late Joe) Strain, Nick Dremuck, Donna (Robert) Adams, grandchildren; Jay Strain Jr., Christopher (Candi) Strain, Michael (Lisa) Strain, Amy (James) Lacey, Nick Dremuck, Eric (Erin) Adams, Jeffrey (Heather) Adams, Michael and Tracy Adams, Great Grandchildren; Aiden, Jacek, Ava, Mason, Caia, Quintin, Arthur, Alex, Jake, Margaret, Vinny, Anthony and Dominic. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mary, Dominic, John and Teddy Potenza. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private for his family.
