James W. Hathaway

James W. Hathaway, 67, of Troy, Entered into eternal life on Monday July 31, 2023 in the comfort of his home with his loving wife by his side.

Born in Troy he was the son of the late Melvin and Catherine Cramer Hathaway and the beloved husband of 34 years to Tammy Thomas-Hathaway.

Jim was employed for over 35 years with King Fuels he later continued with John Ray and son's, Polsinello Fuels, and completed his career at R.J. Valente.

Jim is survived by his wife Tammy, Children; Faith Santana, William, Hope and Floyd Hathaway, siblings; Melvin, Thomas and Maryann Hathaway. He was predeceased by his sons; James Jr., Frankie and Teddy Hathaway and Charles Swanson and brother; George Hathaway Sr. Jim is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Thursday from 5 – 7 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, Troy.
