Jerilyn (Welling) Kennedy

Jerilyn Welling Kennedy, 75, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on
Monday, January 6, 2025, at The Van Rensselaer Manor. Born in Troy,
Jerilyn spent the majority of her life independently raising her two sons
and previously worked at The Troy Record. She loved playing bingo and
spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Erin) Welling and Joseph (Gwen)
Cole, and her two brothers, Richard (Gail) Welling and Robert (Lisa)
Welling. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara (Penny) Welling,
and their mother, Barbara H. Welling. She is also survived by several
nieces and nephews, along with 5 grandchildren: Morgan Welling,
Brenna Welling, Jordan Cole, Tatyana Cole, and Renee Liburdi, and
predeceased by her grandson Anthony Liburdi.
The memorial service for Jerilyn will be held on Monday, January 13,
2025, at 10 AM at The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 Third St., Troy.
Friends are invited to attend and may call on Monday from 10 AM until
noon.
