John E. Degen

John E. Degen 63  of Troy passed into eternal rest on January 17, 2024 in the comfort of his home with his loving wife Terry at his side. John was born in Troy and was the son of the late Edward and Jean DelSanto Degen and loving husband of Terry Ann Wickware Degen of Troy. John graduated from Catholic Central High School in Troy.

In addition to his wife Terry ,John is also survived by his brother Edward Degen of Loudonville  ,his sister Anne    ( Leo ) Sadlemire of Latham and his brother Paul Degen of Troy. He was the son-in-law of Maria Wickware and brother- in law of Donna and Lawrence Ashley  ,he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass for John will be celebrated on Tuesday Morning January 23, 2024 at St. Jude The Apostle Church in Wynantskill at 11 am . Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9am until 11 am

In lieu of flowers contributions in John's memory may be made to St. Jude The Apostle Catholic School 42 Dana Ave Wynantskill NY 12198. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery Troy NY
