A very kind and generous person and a night owl, he will be remembered as everyone’s “Uncle Joe” who checked on the teenagers to make sure they got home safely after a night out, who served as everyone’s designated driver and supporter who could be counted on for a loan whenever it was needed. He was generous also to his many charities, particularly those supporting the Right to Life.
