Joseph F. Cioffi

Cioffi, Joseph F. – Joseph F. Cioffi Sr.,92 of Brunswick passed into eternal rest September 23, 2025 after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born in Troy and was the son of the late Carmine A. & Bernadina Marro Cioffi, and loving husband of Deanna Squadrito Cioffi of Brunswick. Joseph proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army serving in Germany. Joseph worked for many years at Norton Co. in Watervliet and also The Department of Housing and Renewal in Albany. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy. He devoted over 70 years as a volunteer fireman at Brunswick #1 Fire Department, serving as Fire Police Captain, one of his greatest loves, in addition to taking care of his family. He enjoyed being in the great outdoors and loved to fish, hike, and canoe as well as go camping in the Adirondacks  In addition to his wife Deanna, Joseph is survived by his son Joseph Jr. and daughter Deborah of Brunswick. Joseph was a very proud grandfather of his grandsons Marc Roulier and Paul (Liz) Roulier. Joseph is also survived by his sister Evelyn Manella and was predeceased by his twin sister Lucy, sister Jane White and brothers Louis and Ralph. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, Troy, Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, family and friends are invited and may call from 10 – 11 am at the Church.
