Joseph John Kennedy Jr.

Joseph John Kennedy Jr, Veteran of the Armed Forces, passed this October 26th at 83 years of age. He was a lifetime resident of Troy and the son of Joe Sr and Rita (McCafferty) Kennedy. 

Joe loved all of his neighbors and would do anything for anyone. He loved his music, sitting on his balcony and spending time with his girlfriend. 

Joe is survived by his girlfriend, Nancy; children, Gregory (Ronda) and Shiela (Mike); grandchildren, Collyn, Devlin, Paul, and Charlotte; great-grandson, Oliver; many nieces and nephews; and friends.

He was preceded by wife Jean Ann (Rayno); siblings Susan, Maureen (Sissy), Judith, John (Clarkie), Charles (Ricky), Tommy; and son Joey Jr.

The funeral for Joe will be held on Friday morning at 11 AM at The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 Third St. Troy NY with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating. Relatives are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 9 AM until 11 AM.

Interment with military honors will follow at 1 PM at The Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Duell  Schuylerville NY.
