Joseph C. Kufs, 73, of Brunswick, entered into eternal life on Saturday August 10, 2024 at St. Peter's Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was raised in Watervliet, NY. and was the son of the late John and Theresa Denaker Kufs and the beloved husband of 42 years to Krystyna Gawlowski Kufs.
Joe was a graduate of Sienna College class of 1981 and completed his education with an Accounting degree where he soon after gained employment with several large companies throughout the capital district.
He enjoyed movie trivia, and was a great fan and collector of both the Beatles and John Wayne memorabilia. But most of all he treasured his time spent with his family especially his grandchildren.
Survivors in addition to his beloved wife Krys, include his daughters; Amanda Haber and Jessica (Ryan) Callander, grandchildren Benjamin and Natalie Callander, siblings; Karen Fanfarelli and Thomas Kufs. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Kufs and niece Elizabeth Kufs. Joe is also survived by his mother in law Anna Gawlowski, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 2 – 5 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 3rd St. Troy, prayer services will begin at 4:45 pm with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating.
