Judith Gilbert, "Judy", 77 of Troy
Passed away peacefully on Sunday February 26th at the Troy Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
A lifelong resident of Troy she was the daughter of the late Maxwell Slick and Dorothy Wishart and wife
of the late Martin Gilbert.
Judy attended Troy High School and worked as a nurses aide before becoming a devoted homemaker and
and mother.
Judy had a wonderful way of connecting with people and bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
She loved her family more than anything and getting to see them grow up made her the happiest of all.
Judy also loved spending time with her many friends at the Burns Apartments as well as playing bingo
and attending Donny Elvis concerts whenever she could.
Judy is survived by her long-term companion William Miner, her daughter Jewel (Thomas) Robinson
and her grandchildren Corey Robinson and Lily Robinson as well as her feathered friend (pet Cockatoo) ET.
The family would like to thank the many doctors and healthcare professionals who took care of Judy over the last several years. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday March 6th at the Wm. Leahy Funeral home from 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
