Karen Goldston, 69, of Troy was called home to be with the Lord and join her late husband of 42 years Dale H. Goldston and their canine companion Riley Tucker on Thursday September 18, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

Born in Lawton, Ok. she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anne McManus Radliff.

Karen joined the Muchachos Drum Corp in 1973, where she met Dale and her special lifelong friends “The Group”. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Russell Sage College and the University of Albany where she received a Dual Masters Degree. She had retired after 35 years service with the Scotia – Glenville High School where she taught in the special education program.

Karen was a member of the American Legion in Wynantskill and enjoyed WOW weekends, Dancing and Parades, especially the Flag Day and St. Patrick's Day Parades.

She is survived by her siblings; Mary Radliff (Jason), Eileen (Ron) Rosencrans, Colleen (Rick) Goyer, Scott (Debbie) Radliff, Dottie Radliff (Leo), her aunts; Jean Luke and Jackie (Ed) Everest, Stepson; Dale (Emily) Keenan and her granddaughter Quinn. In addition to her Parents and husband, Karen was pre deceased by her brother Charles Radliff, She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are invited and may join together on Tuesday Sept. 30th from 10 – 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 State St. Troy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am with Fr. Richard Donovan officiating. Entombment will be private for her close family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society or to the Capital City Mission.

Friends and family are also welcome to a gathering that will follow the Funeral services from 1 – 4 pm at the Polish American Club on First Street in Troy.
