Louis R. Pisaniello, 97, of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Monday morning November 14, 2022, as the second oldest veteran at The Van Rensselaer Manor in Troy. Lou was born in Troy and was the son of the late Louise Milanese. He served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1946. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Troy. Lou had been employed for many years by the former Niagara Mohawk now National Grid. Funeral service for Lou will be held on Friday morning at 11 a.m. at The Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy. Friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
