Lucy (Rosamilia) Madden - Lozon

 Lucy Madden Lozon, 92 of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at The Van Rensselaer Manor, surrounded by her loving family.
Lucy was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late Luigi and Sania Pascucci Rosamilia. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Edward E. Madden, and her husband, Barney Lozon.
Lucy had worked at the bookstore at Siena College and retired from R.P.I. in Troy. She devoted many years of service to the St. Joseph Parish. But the most important thing to Lucy was spending time with her family and many long-time friends.
Lucy is survived by her children, Mark (Bet) Madden, Mary Madden (Steve Shaver) and Therese (Dennis) Gilligan; her grandchildren, Katelyn (Bryan) McNall and Shane (Nicole) Waters; her great-grandchildren, Garrett Waters, Michael, Christopher and Mariella McNall; her sister, Leona Kern; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Rosamilia and Pat Dwyer. She was also predeceased by Patrick (Eleanor) Rosamilia, Anne Rosamilia, Joseph (Theresa) Rosamilia, Philomena (Anthony) Scarchilli, Louis Rosamilia; and in-laws, Warren Kern, John (Sandy) Madden and Jack Dwyer. She loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Lucy will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Phuong Ngo, O. Carm pastor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
