Marisa A. (Ledesma) Henry

Marisa A. Ledesma-Henry,44, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Cohoes, but lived in Troy she was the daughter of Jose Ledesma and the late Meg Elizabeth Gilboe. Marisa was an associate for New England Nanny where she worked as professional nanny/dog sitter as well as had her own jewelry business named Divalicious Designs by Marisa. Marisa was a spitfire, charismatic, fun loving, unselfish, kind and welcoming person who was heavily involved in the LGBTQ/BIPOC, and other various communities and charities. Marisa spent her free time watching various movies/series such as Star Wars trilogies, Game of Thrones, Tim Burton movies, Labryinth and Rocky Horror Picture Show. She also enjoyed swimming, doing food blogs and being involved in various activities and productions. Marisa was a bad ass and all around wonderful person to be around and will be greatly missed from all who unconditionally loved her. Marisa is survived by loving husband Neville R Henry, her father Jose Ledesma, stepmom Elsa Ledesma, mother-in-law Eunice Henry, grandmother-in-law Martha Henry, sisters-in-law Shanon Gordon-Bright, Pearl Henry, Trina Johnson and brothers Kennedy Gonzalez, Jose Ledesma Jr. ,Gabriel Ledesma, brother-in-law Tim Bright and her 11 nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by her brother Marcos J. Ledesma.

A Memorial service for Marisa will be held at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 3rd Street Troy, NY 12180 from 11am-2pm on Saturday.
