November 25, 1960 – January 22, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Brother, and friend Mark
Steven McClure, who left us peacefully on January 22, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born In Troy, New York, he was the devoted son of the late Paul E. McClure and Rosilynn LaPointe.
Mark grew up Latham. After Graduating from Shaker High School, he moved to
California, opened his company, McClure International that he ran for many years.
Once retired he moved back to New York to be close to his family.
He loved playing with his grandchildren and a good family BBQ. He was passionate
about music, playing his guitar and singing. Mark loved playing softball, watching football
and was huge NY Mets fan.
He is Survived by his daughter; Crystal Redcross, Grand Children; Shante Hemingway and Zaevion Redcross.
Brothers; Paul McClure, Kevin (Late Gloria) McClure and Timothy Hatch, Sisters; Pamela (Late Edward ) Springer and Laurie (Joseph) Kennedy.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 am - 12 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, Troy.
Prayer services will begin at 12 pm with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating,, Inurnment will follow at St Peters Cemetery, Troy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
