Mary (Catlin) Donnelly

Mary (Catlin) Donnelly, 89 of Troy, NY, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023 with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.  Born in Troy, she was the daughter of William and Ella Catlin.  

Mary married the love of her life Thomas Donnelly in 1955 and spent 48 wonderful years together.  He passed away in 2003.  

Mary is survived by her daughter Ellen Donnelly, granddaughter Alexis Mastan and several nieces and nephews.

Mary enjoyed vacations with her husband in Lake George, going to Saratoga Race Track and playing bingo.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter who she cherished more than anything.

The family would like to thank The Van Rensselaer Manor Nursing Home for the loving care they have given her for the last 15 years.   A special thank you to Kerri Palmer, Maureen Shannon and all the nurses and aids for their tireless work.

Mary is predeceased by her father William Catlin, her mother Ella Catlin, brother Jim Catlin and sister Terry (Rosella) Hunt.

Family and friends may join together on Wednesday, May 3rd from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, Troy, NY.  Funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating.
