Mary Lorraine O'Keefe, 86, of North Greenbush, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn, Albany with her loving family by her side.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Delorme Murphy.
Lorraine worked at the NYS Education Department of Professional Titles. She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, swimming, and spending quality time with her loving family and friends.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter Jamie (Patrick) Kennedy of Schodack and son Christopher (Bernadette) O’Keefe of Danbury, CT and was predeceased by her husband James. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Kaitlin (Kevin) Rector, Ryan (Riya) Kennedy, James O’Keefe, and Conor O'Keefe. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister Joan (Michael) Pascarella and her brothers Joseph (Alice) Murphy, Edward (Grace) Murphy and John (Ann) Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lorraine will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Williams Rd., Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at St. Michael’s Church on Monday morning from 9 – 9:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's memory may be made to the St. Peter's Hospice Inn, Albany, NY.
