Michael Dewey

Michael T. Dewey, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at age 45. Born in Albany, NY, he is survived by his parents, Harold and Sharon, brother Christopher, daughter Jadyn, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many other loved ones and friends.

Mike graduated from Troy High School in 1995 and was a lifelong resident the Capital Region. Friendly and outgoing, he loved music, camping and being outdoors, and having fun with friends and family. Mike was an avid sports fan and particularly enjoyed rooting for the NY Jets and the NY Yankees. He was always quick with a joke and loved to make people laugh.

Calling hours will be held Monday, June 19 from 3-6pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 3rd Street, Troy, NY. A Funeral service will be held at the Leahy Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20 at 10am. Following the service, internment will be held privately with immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mike’s name to the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company.
