Patricia A. Sagendorf, 91 of Troy, died on November 3, 2022. Pat was the wife of the late Richard J. Sagendorf. She is survived by her sister, Mary "Mitzi" Butler; and her children, Richard Sagendorf (Roberta), Diane Brooks (Jim), Patricia Bartman (James), Mark Sagendorf (Kathy), JoAnn Hill (David), Linda Craven (Scott), and Virginia Thomas (Scott). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Richard, she was predeceased by her mother, Ann (Koether) (Hamm) Sharp; father, William Hamm; stepfather, Roy "Doc" Sharp; sister, Virginia (Hamm) Lowe; son, Ronald Sagendorf, and daughter, Darlene McCanney. Pat always lived life to the fullest and had a way of accepting any situation that life handed her and making the best of it. While raising nine children, she always worked outside the home but managed to find time to support her children's interests and activities (music, school dances, sleepovers), and enjoyed the time she spent with her husband going to square dances, organizing his famous clam steams, traveling to Canada to visit old friends and family, etc. In her later years, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, going to the casino, swimming, sewing and watching old movies on TV, especially John Wayne. Her laughter and cheery personality will surely be missed by many. Pat loved greeting cards. Her family would like to thank her friend Chris from Florida, who never let an occasion go by without sending a card. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice for being there during the final days. A private service will be held at the gravesite. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY, 12205.
