Van Dyke, Patricia "Patty" TROY Patricia "Patty" (Mosseau) Van Dyke, age 81, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Leo V. Mosseau and Catherine (Dobransky) Mosseau, and spent her life in South Troy. Patty was the loving wife of 59 years of Myron Wallace Van Dkye; sister of her only brother, Leo P. (Judith) Mosseau; and cherished aunt of Paul (Sabrina) Mosseau, Kellee (Craig) Bonenfant, Matthew (Caroline) Mosseau, Jeannine (Brad) Barcher and Amy (Kevin) Shufon. She will be greatly missed by her great-nieces and nephews and several cousins. Patty was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1959, and was employed at Borden's Ice Cream in Menands until it closed in 1989. She made lifelong friendships at her job that she remained in touch with and met for lunch once a month. Patty enjoyed watching sports on T.V., old movies, going to concerts, knitting and tending to her garden. Patty was in her happy place when she was at the casino, (winning of course) with her best friend and cousin Betty Martone. The service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
