Patrick Ielapi of Davenport, FL formerly of Atlanta, GA and Troy, NY peacefully entered into Eternal Life on September 25, 2025.
Pat has been Cremated and will be Buried next to His Parents Vito and Fannie Ielapi in St. Mary’s Cemetery Troy, NY with Military Honors.
Family and Friends are invited to attend Pat’s Celebration of Life, Graveside Service Friday May 29, 2026 at 11:00 am.
Pat Served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War 1966-1970 as a Medical Specialist.
Pat retired from Ford Motor Company with 35 years. Working at the Green Island Ford Plant in NY, the Atlanta Parts Depot and Lakeland Florida HVC where He served as the UAW Chairman of the facility, making Friends across the country.
Pat was a Respectful, Hardworking, Honest, Dependable Man and a Loyal Loving Husband, Father and Friend.
Patrick married the Love of His Life, Deborah, barefooted, on the Beach at Sunset in Maui, Hawaii. They were together for 27 years and Married for 20, making All Their Dreams come True.
Pat and Deborah’s Dreams were to visit all 50 states. Both of Them being retired from Ford gave Them the time to travel to 43 states up until COVID hit and stopped them from travelling to see the last 7 states.
They frequently visited Las Vegas NV and He always went there every year for the Super Bowl parties meeting up with Life Long Friends from Ford.
Their favorite spots to visit were Biloxi, Mississippi for the Casino action and as often as possible attended monthly get togethers with Deborah's High School Reunion Group at Ideal Sports Bar in Atlanta, where All Her Friends fell in Love with Pat.
And every chance they got they visited Earl’s Hideaway Biker Bar in Sebastian Florida to see Family and Friends for weekends of Free Live Music.
Pat is survived by His Wife Deborah, His Daughter Amy Ielapi and Her Wife Crystal Graham, Step-daughter Katie Carter, Step-son Cameron Gregory and Granddaughters Dera Carter and Scarlet Gregory.
