Robert Honsinger

Robert J. Honsinger 83 of Troy passed into eternal rest on June 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Troy and was the son of the late Leroy and Alice Troy Honsinger and loving husband of Mary Jean Crowley (Candy ) Honsinger of Troy

Bob had been employed by The United States Postal  Service for 38 years . He was a US Army Veteran and served our country for 6 years . He enjoyed going to the casinos , playing cards but mostly  loved spending time with his family.

In addition  to his wife Mary Jean,  Bob is also survived by his son John M.(Yvette ) Burns  and his daughter Kandis ( Frank )  Paolone . Bob was the very proud grandfather of Kristin, Sean ,  Brian ,John Jr., Andrew, Jessica, Joshua, Ashleigh ,Gabriella, Nicholas ,Jacob and Angelina  and 4 great grandchildren. Bob was the brother of the late Leroy and Edward Honsinger.

Bob’s family would like to send their deepest appreciation to Theresa Doyle for her constant care of Bob.

  The funeral service for Bob will be held on Monday evening at 6 PM  at The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 Third St. Troy with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Monday from 3-6 PM
