Rocco S. Vumbaco

Rocco S. Vumbaco, 88, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Monday July 24, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Troy he was the son of the late Cosimo (Frank) and Mary Cotrona Vumbaco and the loving husband of the late Roberta “Bobbi” Brown Vumbaco.

Mr. Vumbaco owned and operated Quad City Printing and Photography for over 50 years in Troy,

Rocco was a member of the Professional Photographer Society of N.Y., Professional Photographers of America and the past president of the Troy Kiwanis Club.

Rocco enjoyed photography, traveling and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Survivors include his 4 son's; Ross (Becky), Jay (Mary Ann), Peter (Kimberly) and David Vumbaco, proud grandfather of; Jason, Graham, Stephen, Amanda, Celeste, Zachary and 3 great grandchildren; Layla, Livvia and Ethan. He is also survived by his brothers, Tony and Paul Vumbaco and sister, Ceil Busone along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his beloved wife and parents he was predeceased by his siblings; Joseph, Frank, Theresa, Carm, Angie and Rose.

Funeral procession will begin at 8:45 am on Saturday from the Bocketti Funeral Home 336 3rd St. Troy to Hope United Methodist Church in Eagle Mills where at 9:30 am funeral services will begin with Pastor David Martin officiating, Interment will follow at Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4 – 7 pm at the funeral home.
