Shane Philip Bariteau - Roulier

Shane Philip Bariteau-Roulier, 52 of Troy passed away after a long illness on Monday September 19, 2022 . Born in Troy he was the son of late Frank Foster and Lynda Gleason (Bariteau). Shane was educated in Averill Park schools. He worked in multiple restaurants in the Tri-City area and in his last years enjoyed his free-lance landscaping for many customers. He served five years as a volunteer fireman with the West Sand Lake fire department. His favorite past-time was playing bingo, going to casinos, decorating for holidays and hanging with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Traci Bariteau and his beloved best friend, his dog Sammy. He is survived by his husband of 23 years Donald Roulier; silblings Todd Bariteau (Carol), Trent Bariteau, Tricia Sowalski (Matthew) and Shawn Bariteau. He is also survived by multiple nieces & nephews. The family wishes to thank Shane’s long time close friend Dennis Sinnott for his support through out these difficult days.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial gathering that will be held on Friday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St. Troy.
