Sylvester "Bruce" Edwards Jr. Troy, NY - Sylvester "Bruce" Edwards Jr., 36, passed away on January 9, 2024, in Albany, NY. He was born on October 21, 1987, in Albany, NY. Bruce was a beloved husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed. Bruce was a fun-loving man who had a special place in his heart for his family, especially his wife and children. He adored his dog Maui and the two family cats. Bruce had an outgoing personality and was loved by many. He had a knack for making connections and knew everyone. Bruce is survived by his wife, Holly Edwards, and their children, Savannah Sawyer and Jaxon Edwards. He is also survived by his parents, Thomasine Durand and Sylvester "Bruce" Edwards Sr., his brother’s Shaundell and Shaquille Edwards as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, his grandmother Donna Durand and in-law family members. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas "Tuck" Durand, and his mother and father-in-law, Alice Fisher and Robert Fisher. Bruce attended Troy High School and had a passion for spending time with his family. He enjoyed gaming and watching lawn mowing videos in his free time. A funeral service to honor Bruce's life will be had and details of the service will be Friday January 19th 2024 from 11am-1pm William Leahy's Funeral Home in Troy, NY, for family and some friends followed by a celebration of life at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Latham NY. Where everyone is welcome to come and celebrate Bruce’s life. Please come dressed comfortably because that would Bruce would want everyone to be comfortable! Bruce's vibrant spirit and loving nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace
