Teresa (Jacon) O'Connor

Teresa O'Connor, 97, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Sunday August 24, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Teresa was born on May 18, 1928 in Troy, NY. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Ruthowska) Jacon, and the loving wife of 57 years to the late William O'Connor.
Teresa is survived by her children; Karen Barrett, David (Jean-Ann) O'Connor and Bill O'Connor, proud grandmother to Sara Allen Taylor, Michael Barrett Jr., Linden Barrett Taylor (Jawon), Kathleen Bishop (Barret), Elizabeth, Vaughn and Zachary O'Connor, and great grandchildren Aliare, Calla, Aspen, Rory, Amity, Omari and Callie. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Mary Pochman, Toni Argay, Jane Granato, Ann Conroy, Helen, Sophie, Joseph, John and Thomas Jacon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Deanna Farrell as well as Paul Wain and all of the Hospice staff for the incredible care, help and support they have provided to us.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4 – 7 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, Troy. Funeral procession will begin at 8:30 am on Friday morning to St. Joseph's Church where at 9 AM a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated with Fr. Joseph Ngo officiating, Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.
