Theresa Martin

Theresa M. TROY Theresa M. Martin, 60 of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Theresa was born in Troy and was the daughter of the late John and Marie Gorman; and wife of the late Christopher Martin. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Gorman; and granddaughter, Nebula Benoit. She loved to cook, sing, share facts on flamingos, travel, be at the ocean, spend time with family and her many, many friends. Theresa was a beautiful and kind soul who was loved by many. She lived her life to the fullest, even through hard times. May the sky shine brighter with an extra star shining down. We love you, mom. She is survived by her daughters, Giovannine (Jason) Matheron and Rachael (Brian) Benoit; and her grandchildren, Zoe Gilman, Miley Benoit, Cleo Benoit, Stella Benoit, Clementine Matheron, and Calliope Matheron. She is also survived by six brothers, one sister, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Theresa will be held on Friday, October 21, at 11 a.m. in the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy with Deacon Bob Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in The Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Please join the family after services at Govie's house. Contact us for details.
