Wilhelmiene (Knaus) Ristich

Wilhelmiene Ristich, 94, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Monday August 11, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home.

She was pre deceased by her loving husband Velimir Ristich, 2 daughters Monica Ristich and Vida Ristovski, son in laws; Hubert Terry and Jova Ristovski as well as her partner of over 20 years Francesco Miele.

She is survived by her loving children; Radmilla Terry, Albert (Gaby) Knaus of Germany, Vera Holmes, George Ristich, Petar Ristich and Angela (Dave) White. She was the beloved grandmother of; Sara (William) Rubinski,

William Bedford, Christina (Ben) Maxstadt, Jacqueline Holmes, Erica (Jesus) Morera, Dragon (Melissa) Ristovski, Colin White, Evan White, Katica Ristovski, Dominique Terry and James Beau Gaudreau, also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Wilhelmiene worked at the Van Rensselaer Manor for many years in the dietary department, she was a loving and caring person to her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and her vegetable and flower gardens. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation that will be held on Sunday August 24th from 12 – 3 pm at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home 336 3rd St. Troy.
